Though we took to the Field and not the Woods, the spirit of Thoreau’s words are apt to describe this night’s walk:

- Getting out really does make things better, especially if it is a well-loved place
- Sometimes we need reminders not to get too far ahead & to wait at trail junctions
- Jasper especially loves it here when the grass is long & he can play land shark
- Sometimes riding Daddy’s shoulders can be faster than a sibling riding his bike.
Love this quote (of course) and love the sentiment. Any day ‘out’ is a good day out!
