There is a list of activities, of needs and wants each day. Self-awareness this past week (or two!) has led me to work on practicing just. getting. started. Do you know what I mean?  There are things that need doing, and I know I need to do them, but sometimes freeze like a deer in headlights.  I need a little mental shake, to hear my inner voice as it says, “YOU are the one who needs to get things started.  Do it.  NOW!”

I was practicing when she awoke this morning. She joined in.

Getting on my mat was one thing.

Big Sweater for Little Ellie (1)

Finishing up the last bits of this baby sweater was another.

    First, what a beautiful color on your baby sweater! This post reminds me that I really, really need to send that email I promised. Soon I hope. The past couple weeks have been about awareness for me too. I finally am understanding what that means. And yes, part of it for me has been ‘just start’ as well. It’s an empowering feeling no? Glad you were able to have these successful starts!
